Blur Image Online is built to keep your photos on your machine. This page states what the extension does and does not do with data.
Local processing only
Opening, blurring, pixelating, redacting, and exporting images happen inside the extension in your browser. Image pixels are not uploaded to a server operated by us.
No host permissions
The extension does not declare host permissions that would let it read arbitrary websites. It opens its own editor page and works with files or clipboard data you provide there.
No network requests from the extension
The extension itself does not send your images, browsing history, or usage analytics to remote endpoints. Opening this website or the Chrome Web Store listing is separate from the extension runtime.
What is stored on your device
Small preferences may be kept in
chrome.storage.local on your computer. Image data for
editing lives in the editor tab (memory / canvas) while you work. You
can clear preferences by removing the extension or clearing the
extension’s local storage through Chrome.
Permissions in the store listing
The extension may request storage for local preferences
and clipboardWrite so you can copy the result. Those APIs
stay on your device; they are not used to phone home.
